First Cohousing Family
John Richards is a designer, metal artist, father and teaches Architecture at the University of Arizona. He has designed housing and commercial projects in Tucson since 1983. John is currently designing an alternative High School/Middle School with solar and wind power and recaptured rainwater for a garden and orchard. John is active in men's work and has facilitated many personal growth and business processes.
Deb Richards is an accomplished restaurateur, businesswoman and mother. She was the backbone and cofounder of Presidio Grill, Tucson's first and much copied modern bistro. Currently she is part owner of 3 of Tucson's originals: Frank's, Francisco's and the Eclectic Cafe. Deb is an avid movie goer, chef and collage artist.
John and Deb are parents of David and Jack. David will be living on his own with friends. Jack and Deb spend most of their time in Tacoma Washington, where Jack is in High School.
