Environmentally Sound Design
The small footprint of the 5 residences and it's cluster are self-shielding. Each home provides insulation for the other homes. The bank of homes causes less sprawl, less roads and less extension of the city's utility systems. It also is less drain on services such as fire and police. This one aspect of design reduces the carbon footprint of not only our Co-Housing project, but for the city itself.
